  Magnesia crucibles have found application in the superalloy industry, nuclear industry and chemicals industry where corrosion resistance is required. Manufacture is by firing isostatically pressed or slip cast shapes made from fused magnesia. Various purity grades are commercially available. Additives are employed to promote sintering or restrict crystal growth. These range from clay to yttria and alumina depending on application. Crucibles with stability of 2400oC in air, 1700oC in reducing atmospheres, 1600oC in vacuum and 1400oC in hydrogen have been reported in the literature.

Product Description

This crucible is widely used in non-ferrous, aviation, precision casting and high-energy magnetic materials industries. It is an ideal steel melting vessel for intermediate frequency furnaces and high frequency induction furnaces.

     Capacity: 0.2kg-300kg

     Material: There are high-purity fused magnesia and high-purity fused synthetic magnesia-aluminum spinel.

     Because the crucible has the characteristics of high temperature, smooth inner working surface, and good corrosion resistance and peeling performance, it can improve the purity of molten steel and reduce the inclusion rate of the product. Therefore, it is an ideal choice for high-precision products such as high-temperature alloy precision casting.

3. The furnace has high refractoriness. The inner bottom surface of the furnace is pressed with at most one turn of the induction coil. Compared with the traditional furnace lining, the furnace has a large furnace volume and high effective power, which significantly improves the melting rate of the electric furnace.
